Disability Information Services
The Disability Information Service currently holds 4 network meetings a year (1 per quarter). They are for people working in the disability and related health sectors. The format is a round of introductions, 2 speakers (approximately 15 minutes each), a time for organisations to share any events/notices happening for them and concludes with networking. Tea/coffee and light refreshments are provided, people are encouraged to bring their lunch. Brochures or any other material to share is tabled for all to access.
The meetings commence at 12.30 and are finished by 2pm.
If you would like to be included on the Network meeting distribution list - please email your contact details.

The Christchurch Housing Forum
The forum meets every six weeks for two hours to discuss housing issues, keep up to date about what is happening in the housing sector, maintain relationships and expand networks. Because the focus of the forum is on information sharing and relationship building, and not lobbying it has been possible for all parties to come together. It is not unusual for tenant advocates to be sitting beside landlords. The forum involves not-for-profit housing providers as well as private providers and government providers and various interest groups around housing, e.g. disabled persons, mental health etc. Work and Income regularly participate as well as Government Health Housing and Justice Departments.
Meetings are held at Oxford Tce Baptist Church Hall from 12.00noon to 2.00pm, please contact for dates.

Sol-Net - Solutions Network
In order to support clients through their recovery journey it is essential that links between services and groups working with people with mental health challenges are made and existing links strengthened, and that network partners have a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities available both within agencies and local community resources. Open to all groups and agencies who have an investment in supporting people with mental health challenges.
